Tensei is a college student who’s a hobbyist photographer. One day while taking photos, he encounters and becomes captivated by a boy with burn scars on his face, Makito. Worn down by people staring at his scars from an accident, Makito escaped the flashy modelling industry and instead found work at a small-town library. Tensei, who knows nothing about this past, comes to talk to Makito whenever he borrows and returns books.
